This is a remote position.
We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Trucking Insurance Trainer to educate and support our team in understanding the complexities of commercial trucking insurance. This role is essential for ensuring our staff is well-versed in underwriting, selling, claims handling, regulatory compliance, and customer service specific to the trucking industry.
- Develop and deliver training programs on trucking insurance policies, procedures and regulations for new and existing agents.
- Help coach and equip new trucking sales agents in effective prospecting, relationship-building, persuasive presentations, and closing techniques
- Document and maintain up-to-date training manuals, classes, SOPs, and video tutorials
- Collaborate with management to improve workflows and reduce errors
- Create training materials, manuals, and e-learning modules
- Stay current with industry trends, FMCSA regulations, and insurance best practices.
- Conduct assessments to evaluate training effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with underwriting, claims, and compliance teams to ensure training aligns with operational needs.
- Provide one-on-one coaching and support as needed.
- May need to cross train in Personal Lines and other Commercial Lines
